Playing on the WiiOur church is made up of very peculiar people. According to the dictionary, peculiar means each person having characteristics exclusively particular to themselves.

Jesus told a parable of a field containing both wheat and weeds. The farmer said that it was too risky to try weeding the field, the wheat might also be destroyed. Both should be left to grow together until the harvest - only then could they safely  be separated. Harvest Congregation on the stairs

In the same way, the church cannot exclude everyone whose life is not perfect. If it did there would be nobody in it. A church is made up of people at all stages of their faith. There will be some who are just looking; some who gave up on church years ago; some for whom their faith gives meaning to their lives. There may be some who think faith is a crutch for those unable to cope without it, and who only attend because they are accompanying others; some may believe things that are not in the Bible. All are part of our family.
