When Faith Wavers!

“Are you the one?” Luke 7 v 19

John the Baptist is in prison (Luke 3:20) in the fortress dungeons at the North end of the Dead Sea. Under great deprivation, John’s faith begins to waver. Sending two of his disciples to Jesus, he asks his cousin “Are you the one to come or should we expect someone else?”. This is such a contrast to the confident John of John 1:29 “Behold the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!”. How steady is our faith through all the changing scenes of life?
