George Street runs parallel to the main shopping area (Union Road) and the pedestrian precinct in the High Street. Walking up the pedestrian precinct through the alley next to Thorntons, the Church is beyond and to the left of the Co-op supermarket. The library (and Bus stop) is further up the hill on the opposite side of the road.
