Girls’Brigade
Each of the groups in Girls's Brigade wear different colour tee shirts displaying the GB badge. Here is Gaby wearing her uniform.
GB meet in the George Street Centre on Wednesdays at 6:00pm. The girls really enjoy learning useful skills, such as bandaging an accident victim.
Parents watch with admiration as we sing using British Sign Language.
Team games help the girls understand why things are done.
The picutre below shows a practical demonstration. The team on the left haven't read the instructions, with the result that the cake doesn't turn out as it should. Things work much better when you follow the instructions, like the team on right.
