On August 23rd 2009 Brenda and Lynda were baptised. Lynda had been a christian for many years but had never been baptised as a believer. She is not very steady on her feet so she sat on a chair in the pool. Water from a jug was poured over her. 
Brenda started coming in September 2008 when she was invited to 'Back to Church Sunday'. In early August 2009 she gave her life to Jesus. We rejoice with her and the angels!
The angels probably also laughed with us when we arrived at church to discover that the water was much too hot. Numerous trips with containers full of cold water and dozens of ice cubes cooled it down sufficiently for the baptism to go ahead.
